Mr. Berry began his career in the transportation business in 1978 with Ligon Specialized Hauler, a family owned business in Madisonville, KY. He got promoted from salesman to General Manager within three years. He was promoted to VP and then remained with them when they transitioned to LandStar.Berry was one of the original officers of LandStar a very successful transportation and logistics company based in Jacksonville, FL.He formed a consulting company, Berry Consulting Group, in 2005. He helped several companies grow their trucking and brokerage business in very tough economic times. Among those who contracted with Berry was PGT Trucking, CRST, and PTL Trucking. Berry was President of Worldwide Freight Corp, a California Logistics company and OTMI, a non asset based public company. He has also served and continues to serve as a Director and Board Member of various transportation companies.He had course studies in Business Administration at Austin Peay University and Western Kentucky University. He served in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War and was Honorably Discharged.He presently resides in Madisonville, Kentucky with his wife, Maureen, and Reagan, his wired-haired fox terrier.
